nGenTenancy
A large percentage of start-up businesses fail within their first two years of operation. The purpose of having an incubator is to give tenants the extra edge they need in order to survive the early stages of their companies life. Assisting these companies during the start-up phase helps drastically reduce the potential for failure, and helps build a stronger foundation for company growth. Research shows that almost 90% of businesses that begin operations in a business incubator are still operating after five years, whereas companies started independently experience only a 50% success rate. By providing tenancy to young businesses, nGen provides these businesses with mentorship, networking, collaboration, prototyping, production, business development, as well as access to technology, projects, and seminars. Through tenancy, nGen is providing digital interactive media companies a higher chance of success, strengthening the cluster in the Region.
